What’s a Mommy Makeover?
It is a clinical procedure through which women tend to restore their pre-childbirth physique. There are diverse reasons to opt for Mommy Makeover and there are diverse procedural options to choose from.
The breasts have played an important role in defining the special functions of the female body and have enormous cultural significance as well. For a woman, childbirth could be a heavenly blessing but what happens to her own physique often goes unnoticed or gets ignored by herself. But for those women who wish to regain their pre-pregnancy physique can always start with their breasts. When it comes to improving breast aesthetics there comes three classifications of it: Breast Reduction, Breast Lift, and Breast Enhancement.
The goal of breast reduction surgery is to reduce the size of your breasts and reshape them so that they are proportionate to the rest of your body and are no longer a source of physical discomfort.
When to Consider Breast Reduction?
- When the size of your breasts is not in tandem with the body frame.
- Heavy breasts with hanging or downward pointing areolas.
- If both breasts differ in size with respect to each other.
It involves inserting breast implants to increase the size of the breasts, change their shape, or make them evener.
What does it involve?
Breast implant surgery is carried out under general anesthetic.
The operation involves:
- making a cut (incision) in the skin next to or below the breast.
- positioning the implant – either between your breast tissue and chest muscle or behind your chest muscle
- stitching the incision and covering it with a dressing.
Breast sagging is a natural occurrence for nearly all women. It is recommended to counter after the effects of pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, gravity, heredity, and/or weight loss. It is also called a mastopexy.
Breast lift surgery uplifts and improves the shape of your breast(s). A breast lift helps breasts that:
- Have lost firmness and skin elasticity
- Have a flatter, elongated shape
- When unsupported, the nipple falls below the breast crease
- Have a nipple and areola that point downward
- Have stretched skin and an enlarged areola
It has become the first choice for a large number of women who wants to re-contour their vagina after childbirth, weight loss or due to aging. It is a combination of Vulvaplasty and Vaginoplasty.
G – Shot
The “G-shot” is a medical procedure originally intended to help treat urinary incontinence (typically for older women), but has sometimes been used to augment the G-spot, all in the hopes of increasing the area’s sensitivity and orgasmic potential.
Side effects and potential risks of the G-shot procedure include:
- Loss of sensation
- Lack of any change in sensation/function from pre-procedure
O – Shot
The shot, an abbreviation of The Orgasm Shot, is a non-surgical treatment which pledges to increase sexual arousal and rejuvenate the vagina.
The shot works by using platelets containing the patient’s own blood from their arm. This is then put in a special centrifuge which produces “high quality” Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). It is injected into specific areas of the vagina, and patients can just have one shot or come back for more which will build on the existing PRP.
Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation
Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation is a procedure designed to enhance sexual gratification.
In vaginal childbirth, there are several parts of the birth canal which get weakened. Such as muscles, fascia and ligaments thereby causing vaginal looseness, decreased pleasure, flatus, etc.
This process helps restructure the vagina to its natural state; i.e, before childbirth.
Tummy Tuck – With or Without Liposuction
Tummy tuck surgery, or abdominoplasty, is used to stitch the stretched muscles back together and reduce or remove excess skin. Almost every woman after childbirth gain weight.
These three procedures, abdominoplasty, liposuction and breast surgery, are the classic Mommy Makeover. The key is to limit the amount of general anesthesia time as much as possible. Advantages to combination surgery are obvious, including savings on the anesthesiologist and surgical suite time and recovering all at once.
